Since I am a visual person I am going to update my thermometer twice a month.....there was not much coloring on the 15th, at least we are going in the right direction!

2014 Goals

My big goal in 2013 was to run, and finish...and not die a full marathon.  I did that in February.  My other goal was to run 1000 miles....I kinda fell short here.  When I set that goal I was in the middle of marathon training so it sounded completely reasonable...however come March....not so much.  I was close at about 965.

 Now on to 2014 goals, I made everyone help me with these.......:

• Pay down 20% of our overall debt, I am totally a visual person so I made a 20% thermometer to color in.....I plan on updating it twice a month....it looks kinda sad right now.
  
• To go somewhere we have never been, I think we have this planned.  Tying it into my designation for work.
• Donald to finish his certification-this should happen in May!!!!
• Donald's bigger goal is to catch a fish out of his kayak......
• Avie to ride a bike with no training wheels....she has been practicing...be afraid.
• To fellowship more-we are trying to invite people over at least once a month.  We have already done this once in January so we are off to a good start.
• To run/walk half a mile at least every day.  I know Runners Worlds definition of a streak is a full mile...but this is my goal so I can define the streak how I want.  So far I am good here.

Mud room redo

I have been wanting somekind of system in our mud room.....so Donald built the bench and we moved a bookcase.  I love it.

Christmas 2013

I am a little late with my Christmas pics, but we have been running busy so here goes....

The girls had parties the last day of school and the Christmas program.

Thursday before Christmas we went with the Colson's to see the lights at the Suwanee park. it was quite chilly.

Hannah was not real happy about going on stage to sing Christmas songs.

we watched the toy ride go by my parents house, there were about 2400 motorcycles this year....Avie and I left about half way in

Sunday we made snow (cornstarch and shaving cream)....Avie played with it for hours...and smelled quite manly as well

My office was closed M-W, so Monday we made cookies.

Christmas morning Amelia was awake at 4:30, I made her stay in her room until 6 and then let her wake up Donald and Avie.

Everyone came over for brunch, Anna and Avie were jumping on the trampoline and Anna jumped on Avie's ankle...spraining it.  She limped around like Tiny Tim for a few days and it swelled and bruised up.  She seems much better now.

There was a huge crash/explosion/fire under a bridge on the exit before ours.  We had gone to town, Sam's and Publix on Saturday....it took us over 2 hours to get home....we were dead stopped for most of this time...so Amelia climbed through the trunk to get them snacks.

I did not make my 1000 mile goal for 2013...right now I am 49.5 miles short...which will not be happening before Wednesday.  I guess I will try again next year!!
