Avie is such the climber.....she loves to open the drawer on the train table........climb up...sit in it and finally get on the train table...complete with her hair all in her face, yes I know she needs a clip but she takes them out so why bother.

Yes we put our tree up, the girls LOVE it.  They have to look at every ornament every day:)

Halloween part II

Amelia said you can't wear the same costume twice for the same Halloween at about 2:00, so we had to do some digging.  Amelia decided on Snow White and we pulled out a different cheerleader outfit for Avie.  I DID NOT put on tattoos sonce the others took a week to come off!!

A year later

One year ago was Avie's cleft surgery.  And I just realized I have the same shirt on as in this pic.....I dont get out much:)

This pic was taken not long after they brought her back to us she took the bottle right away.

The one below was taken the next day, she was much better and more like herself at this point.  She did so good!!  I have a friend whose little girl is having her cleft surgery on Thursday in Atlanta say a special prayer for her, giving your baby over to the nurse is a very difficult thing.

18 months

Today Avie is 18 months...here are 18 random facts:

1. She knows all her body parts, she has nightly test over this
2. She loves Mimae
3. She LOVES to get in Mimaes pantie and sock drawer and drag them everywhere and attempt to put them on.
4. She loves to help put up the folded laundry, whether you want her help or not.
5. She likes to color......
6. on furniture
7. and appliances (blank all over the fridge)
8. She has a nasty habit of picking her nose.....I think she does it now b/c we get on to her....she just laughs.
9. When she gets in trouble we make her stand in the corner....it is too funny wathcing her try to peak out.
10. She is fearless...
11. She loves animals and goes crazy whenever we see one...on TV or at home.
12. She loves Anna...which leads to .....
13. she loves to bite....just ask Anna or Donald or Amelia or me.....
14. She got to love on Charlee over the weekend and was so sweet
15. She likes to wave to Abby from across the Church
16. Very rarely does she sleep all night she usually wakes up about 2 crying and crying until you get her up then she refuses to get back in her bed and usually ends up on the couch.
17. She loves to take care of her babies, in fact the other night after Donald got her out of the tub and dressed and was trying to get Amelia out she put one in the tub......full of water.
18. She gives the sweetest hugs and kisses!!

Trunk or Treat

Saturday was our Trunk or Treat at Church, Amelia was an Indian and Avie was a cheerleader....not real sure what Donald was.....

Just some pics of the girls.  Donald and his Dad put in new french doors over the weekend, SO MUCH BETTER!!!  They have the blinds in them so no dusting....just have to have the trim finished this weekend. 

Avie

My little Avie in a night gown I got at my neighbor's yard sale.  Yes I know her hair is in her face, and everyone says cut it but well....I HATE BANGS!!!  After she wore this we decided it would be awhile before she will be allowed to wear again, since she did take her diaper off several times.....She is still everywhere and into everything.  We also got bedrails at the yard sale and will be moving her into a big girl bed ASAP!!just have to find a white twin size (if you have one let me know).  She knows all of her body parts including her elbows which is so cute when she does, she can say everything you tell her, she does better at times than others.  She is doing better with her b and p sounds which is very encouraging.   She LOVES Anna!!  She stays with bev on Monday and Tuesday with Anna and loves to hug and kiss her, which I am SURE Anna loves too, they are always excited to see each other!!

oh what a week

A few weeks ago, after I dropped Avie off, I had to stop back at the house and put some clothes in the dryer.  As I was pulling in a snake slithered in with me.....I was a little alarmed but was able to work through it.  Well Friday, Amelia rode with Donald so I came out to put Avie in the car and as I walked around there was a snake.  I HATE SNAKES!!!!!  and before you ask...to me it was an ANACONDA!!!!!  anyway....I thought ok this will be fine, I will go in get my stuff and crawl through the drivers side.....I go to walk by the Barbie car RIGHT BY THE DOOR and I saw a tail go under....I LOST IT!!!!!  I decided I could not get inside, usually my phone is in the car but it was still inside.....so I walked across the street (his truck and car were there) I banged on the door and rang the doorbell.....no answer.  My next door neigbor had already left so walk (holding Avie) a couple doors down...no answer...after several more no answers at ALL my neighbors houses I checked the garage again....both still there.

Then I see a man walking, from a distance I was guessing his age to be about 60...the closer he got the older he got when he finally got to me I know he was pushing 85-90.  I told him I needed some help, I explained my predictament, he said he does not like snakes....I said well do you have a phone.  He said he lived about 300 yards down the road he would go get it, what he should have said was that he lived 1/2 mile down the road.  20 minutes later he comes walking back, why he did not drive I do not know.  I called Donalds dad to come get them out.  At this point Clyde, my new friend wants to see the snakes...so he beebops to the garage peeks in and says "I aint going in there"...then he proceeds to tell me that when he was in Pakistan they had cobras and just a couple of weeks ago a snake got on his back steps and was half way in his house, I told him I was about to throw up....he then asked if I needed him to stay with me...uh...NO.

Donalds dad got the 2 snakes out and also a dried dead one....so then I decide I need some snake away...our garage and backyard now smell like moth balls......I do not care as long as the snakes stay away!!!

On Saturday I took the girls for donuts and to the park.  I also went and got both of their Christmas dresses.

I killed this jewel on Saturday night...had to take a pic before his untimely death.

Prayers for Adalynn

Please say a prayer for my friend Shannon's little girl Adalynn.  She fell with her toothbrush in her mouth and after 3 trips to the ER, and then going to their ENT and being admitted she was diagnosed with a hematoma in her throat, which is potentially fatal since it can cut off the airway.  I think they have to monitor and wait until it goes down.  Donald and I have decided we will not just give Avie her toothbrush to roam around with anymore.....
