Today was tacky day at school. Amelia was thrilled b/c she wore 2 different shoes and socks.

This is a pic of Avie's cleft, a lot of people have asked what it looks like, where it is at or how big it is and since we are fixing to get it closed up I wanted a pic of it...weird I know but it has been a part of her for as long as we have known her.

That is how I dressed throughout elementary and middle school ... okay and maybe some high school :( I saw your comment on Melissa's blog and I give you permission to be there the whole time and to take TONS of pictures and post updates since I won't be there til saturday morning. Hi Dawkins family. Good to meet you guys. Hoping for time to go back and read some of your story. Such a blessing to increase our cleft-family network. Loved the tacky day outfit. Wouldn't it be so much easier if we could just dress them that way all the time? :) ha! Your girls are beautiful!!
Tacky day was hilarious for two reasons: #1 Donald looked SOOOOO funny! It was such a subtly tacky outfit that it was the best! #2: The little kids didn't all look tacky, some of them just looked like little rag-a-muffin children and it was almost a little bit sad... I love dress up days at school!
I have had many people ask about Reid's cleft palate as well as to what it looks like. I was planning on posting a pic as well...so glad to see you got a good shot. It's hard to get Reid to open up long enough to get a pic.....unless I dangle food in front of him!!! HA! The girls are too cute..and I love the pic on the top of your blog! Take care!
